EDI X12 999 Acknowledgement Parser

Our 999 acknowledgement parser is free to use and gives you the ability to quickly identify the key problem areas of your transaction set.  Please see the parsers constraints below.

 

How to get started

  1. Create an account, New User Registration and start uploading files today.  Parsing 999 ACK files is free.

  2. Pickup up your data in a human readable comma seperated value (csv) file, that can be opened with Excel or any standard text editor such as notepad.

  3. Get back to running and managing your business with the usable information in hand.

Parsing Constraints

  • Only segment and data element errors are captured.  

  • Transaction level, component level, and contextual errors are not captured in this version of the parser.

  • Limited to up to 5 parsings per day.

  • Each file must be 10MB or less.

  • The following information will be returned:

    • Loop

    • Segment

    • Segment Error

    • Segment Position

    • Element Position

    • Element Error

    • Copy of Bad Element Data if applicable

 

What's next?

  • The next version of our 999 utility will allow you to upload the 837 for which the 999 is for and display the actual claim number in error, now that's exciting! This will help you drill down to the issues even quicker.
